We had broccoli from our garden for dinner tonight.
Cameron was thrilled to "cut it down", mommy did the cutting while he watched (in his Superman cape). It has been lots of fun to plant and watch things grow, and best of all now begin to reap the harvest. We can't wait till the other veggies are ready to eat.

I think you may be right about our mystery vegetable being broccoli. The leaves do look like your broccoli leaves. My sister thought so too after she googled for broccoli leaves. Nothing else is growing besides the leaves so I don't know if we'll harvest any broccoli this year or not.
